For a 14-year-old girl from Honduras, building a stable life in the United States meant more than adjusting to a new home and staying focused in school. Her family was also navigating a complicated immigration process—one that could significantly shape the opportunities available to her in the years ahead. When her mother struggled to find the legal support they needed, having someone willing to stay alongside them made all the difference.

The family had already experienced gaps in support and spent months searching for affordable legal representation. Her mother, a single parent raising four children, remained committed to advocating for her daughter despite significant financial barriers.
